Genshin Impact sent a Christmas and New Year’s Eve message to its players with an activation at the Bicentennial Park with lights and figures formed by 300 drones in a show that lasted over 10 minutes.

Latcom, a media trading company specialized in OOH, DOOH and Programmatic, recently developed an activation for Genshin Impact, a free action role-playing game developed by HoYoverse. LinkMe, a Beijing-based digital marketing agency, delegated the operation of the drone show to Latcom.

On Saturday, December 17, Genshin Impact sent a Christmas and New Year’s Eve message to its players with an activation at the Bicentennial Park through lights and figures formed by 300 drones that displayed a colorful show of more than 10 minutes.

“Genshin Impact is a free open-world game in which you can explore a vast territory full of secrets and adventures to live. Echoing this universal spirit and in order to reach everyone is that we decided to make an activation for everyone in Mexico City to receive this playful New Year’s Eve greeting. We are happy because the action has been very well received by both Genshin fans and the general public,” says Aurora Zhou, LinkMe’s General Account Manager.

“We are very happy to be able to accompany Genshin in Mexico with this magnificent show that brings the brand’s open and playful spirit. We are pleased to accompany our clients with original challenges that generate not only impact but also empathy with people in such an exciting moment as the end of a year as special as this one,” concludes Raquel Miara, New Business Director of Latcom’s Southern Cone.
