McDonald’s celebrated with Argentina’s National Team
McDonald’s celebrated together with Argentina’s election at the Obelisco with an action developed by Latcom.
Latcom, a company specialized in out of home (OOH) advertising at a global level, accompanied McDonald’s in the Copa America celebrations at the Obelisco, the iconic celebration point in Buenos Aires.
In record time, Latcom developed an impressive projection in the building above the McDonald’s store located on the corner of Corrientes and 9 de Julio. For more than three hours, there were messages of celebration, a tribute to Di María and AFA videos with summaries of the matches. This historic action generated a significant visual impact, captured by the cameras of all the media present, amid an atmosphere of euphoria and celebration.
The campaign also included two mobile LED billboards that toured the surrounding area, replicating the celebratory messages. Ignacio Vázquez, General Director of LatAm Accounts at Latcom, commented: “We are honored to be able to work for a brand like McDonald’s and fulfill the proposed objective with a minimum of anticipation, to accompany the public present in the place, celebrating the success of the National Team and the joy of all Argentines through this massive and highly visible means of communication. This action demonstrates how OOH can be used in a creative and strategic way to disseminate updated information in an impactful way in key public spaces such as the Obelisk in Buenos Aires”.
